Scrawl is a handwriting input method (keyboard) for Android.

Data Collection

Scrawl does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data.

• — No handwriting data leaves your device
• — No text input is logged or transmitted
• — No analytics or telemetry is collected
• — No network requests are made by the app
• — No user accounts are required
• — No cookies or tracking identifiers are used

Handwriting Recognition

Handwriting recognition is performed entirely on-device. No handwriting or text data is sent to any server.

Permissions

Scrawl requests the BIND_INPUT_METHOD permission, required by Android for all keyboard apps. It also requests RECORD_AUDIO for voice input support. Neither permission grants access to personal data beyond active keyboard use.

Third-Party Services

Scrawl does not integrate with any third-party services, advertising networks, or analytics platforms.

Children's Privacy

Scrawl does not collect any data from any user, including children.

Changes

Any changes to this policy will be posted on this page with an updated date.
